WHAT IS EDUROAM?

eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming wireless access service developed for the international research and education community. eduroam allows our Students to access to a high-speed wireless internet connection. Additionally, access to eduroam is available at participating locations, including the University of Guam and other participating eduroam members. Having started in Europe, eduroam has rapidly expanded throughout the research and education community and is now available in 89 countries and territories worldwide and emerging pilot locations.

WHAT TO DO NEXT?

  1. Go to your device’s Wi-Fi Settings.
  2. Select “eduroam”.
  3. Your username will be your UOG Email Address.
    • Students: example@gotritons.uog.edu
    • Faculty/Staff: example@triton.uog.edu
  4. Your password will be your Triton Portal Password.
  5. Confirm connection by selecting “Trust,” “Continue,” OR “Connect.”
Using eduroam, you can connect up to 5 devices at the same time, but your account is not limited to 5 devices.
 
To recieve your credentials for Wi-Fi connection or for any inquiries, please contact the Office of Information Technology at (671) 735-2640 or helpdesk@uog.edu.
 

Migration of Students: Please follow the steps at the "How to Login" section. Should you have any inquiries, please contact or visit the Office of Information Technology to obtain your eduroam account information.
 
Migration of Staff/Faculty: There will be a scheduled on-site migration per department to assist staff or faculty. The migration will be facilitated with satellite technicians or representatives of respective departments before November 01, 2017.
  • eduroam (up to 150Mb* on campus, soon to be upgraded to 1Gb): University of Guam’s new Wi-Fi connection. Very fast and available worldwide.

  • UOG-GUEST (up to 10Mb): Slower campus Wi-Fi connectivity available for visiting campus guests. No username or password is needed."

  • Triton-GUEST (up to 5Mb): Free Wi-Fi connectivity provided in limited areas on campus (Field House, SBPA, School of Education, and RFK Library) by DoCoMo Pacific in partnership with UOG's Endowment Foundation."

  • DoCoMoPacific (up to 5Mb): Commercial Wi-Fi connectivity available in limited areas on campus (Field House, SBPA, School of Education, and RFK Library) by DoCoMo Pacific paying customers. Please contact DoCoMo Pacific for conditions and requirements.

  • UOG: Will be DISCONTINUED on November 01, 2017.
